How it all started
WatchMatch was inspired by my personal experience of regularly going to the movies with my then-girlfriend and her group of friends. Once a month, we’d meet up to watch a film and share our expectations and opinions over drinks before and after the movie, leading to insightful discussions.
These gatherings revealed how powerful shared interests can be in building stronger connections. Casual acquaintances transformed into deeper relationships through our mutual love for films. This showed me the potential of bringing people together based on common passions – and thus, the vision for WatchMatch was born.
